La Pedrera

We always make efforts to reach out to good friends, acquaintances or those soon to be, whose homes include real Santa & Cole products, to change their lamps for new ones in the most ‘organic’ way possible.
In this case, Ana Viladomiu, a friend of Santa & Cole, invited us into her apartment in Antoni Gaudi’s iconic La Pedrera, where she recounted stories of dinner parties and meetings between well-known names that had taken place over the years in the different rooms of the house, especially in the living room. Among the many tales and anecdotes revealed, she explained to us how one night among friends they decided that the white room had to be Klein blue and they painted it, decorating it with a large sofa where people like Ingo Maurer or other family friends spent several nights.

When we open our doors to those we know will appreciate the space is often when the most interesting stories can occur.

The photographs were taken over the course of a day spent in the house with its owner and the photographer Salva López, while she introduced us to every corner, every object and every room. Nothing was accidental, nothing by chance. Everything makes sense in this place.
