Lámina by Antoni Arola

With this project we wanted to present the brand through the light of its lamps. Through this  unique warmth and light we sought to draw an imagined ‘landscape’ in which we find Santa & Cole.

In this case, as with the majority of the products in the collection, they are works by local artists, made by local producers who always prioritise quality and sustainability. It’s about the warmth, the quality of the light and the function of the object itself.
We wanted to create a collection of photos that would transmit the light of these lamps and how it affects the objects that it illuminates. Product photos of ‘places and spaces’ that are clean and clear.

Simplicity and balance were the two components at the heart of this campaign. It was important to let the product show itself through the light it gives off; it has its own form of expression and this shouldn’t be interrupted. Staying true to the author’s own concept of Lámina, we highlighted the ‘lightness and delicacy’ of the object by introducing little birds that fluttered between the different elements of the lighting system.

“Simplicity is an inspiring exercise. One that goes further, and even turns the complex around.”
